Growing Affectionate

Sheen and I encourage frequent hugs and cuddling in our home. We try to be intentional about showing love and voicing it too. It's especially fun right now because Jeremiah will typically repeat the "I love you" phrase even though he may not have the full understanding of it.

Another phrase we use often when hanging out or laying down is "cuddle me." Last night when laying J down to sleep, he leaned over and gave me a big kiss. A minute or two later he said "cuddle me". We use that phrase all the time, but I don't know if HE has has ever said it to me. :)

It was a beautiful night.

So important to show affection. Our actions affect our little ones more than we know and it is nice to see the evidence of our influence.

Great post and picture, did you notice those stars shining in the window?

Not real fair, he is my favorite little guy... I am convinced that he will glad of that down the road :), awesome thing to let children, especially boys, to know that love and emotions are ok and a Godly blessing. I was raised to kill, be rude, and sarcastic... thank God for the changing power of the Word.
