4 Month Checkup Today
19 weeks old tomorrow.
Just look at this lil' guy. Sitting there all proud and whatnot.
I mean, I like the doctor and everything; great guy. But wouldn't it sort of be funny if he had "gotten" him? ...a little?

We gave Jeremiah a gift on Saturday. A gift of love.
He obviously couldn't wait to get home and try 'em on.
What do you do when you have family in town, 30 minutes to spare, and have a sister that likes Christian rap?
You make a music video of course. Even if you don't know the lyrics...
It's never too late for an Easter update. That's why this blog will be filled with pictures and videos by tomorrow morning. Before 7:30am, I apromise. So check back soon.
In the mean time, check out my my wife's blog. She posted a video of Matthew eating cookie dough.
The colossal amounts of cookie dough he managed to shovel in was enough to make me laugh. But his Southern accent really topped it off.
Check it: http://sheenaschlegel.blogspot.com/
We pulled out the big guns for a few minutes of play/work time. I'm trying to get a video going, my sisters are just showing off some pics.
Either way, I'll welcome technology at my dinner table any night of the week.
If there was no such thing as a weekend, I think my head would explode at the rate I've been going these last few days.
-My sisters, Jeff, and easy 'E' are in town for the weekend!
-Sarah's b-day on Monday
-The bbq ribs that have been marinating in my fridge for the last 12 hours will be masticated tonight
-Weather and family willing, our garden will be planted this weekend
-Easter Sunday is almost here; meaning deviled eggs and egg hunts for the wittle wons
-I’m taking Monday off!
-It’s 70-something degrees outside right now
-I’m having bbq ribs tonight. Did I mention that?
-Jeremiah’s body build is looking more and more like a football player every day. That or the Pillsbury DB. Either way, his smile outdoes ANY other 4 month old
-I have a wife at home :-)
Looking forward to a nice 3 day weekend.
TGIF
We're pregnant! Eh-umm, with the promises of God, that is. Lots of teaching at our church (and podcasts I subscribe to) lately regarding the plan God. AND getting into it. Last night was one of the best sermons I've heard in the last 12 months. Because it was directed towards me. "If you are called here, you are anointed to be here. You are anointed to do what God placed you here to do."
Anyways, good stuff. We are pregnant with God's promises and our faithfulness is going to usher them into reality.
You didn't really think you would first hear of a second child on the way via a blog post, did you?
Welp,
I got the pants of paradise (thanks pk/ps) and updated my blog header today (those of you that read from email or RSS, come check it out).
My Wrangler wish came true. See this cowboy below? This is the look I was going for. How'd I do?
By the way, these bad boys have a 1 year warranty.
Came accross this acronym today. It's worth sharing:

(If you don’t know what Creative Chaos is, see prior post)
Last Sunday we showed our first episode of Announcement Guys after about a 3 month break. The Announcement Guys consist of myself and another goober basically getting together on camera to inform our congregation of the upcoming events at our church. This also relieves our pastor of having to do them in service every Sunday. We are aiming at producing every 1st and 3rd Sunday.
We usually try to incorporate some humor, video footage and other intriguing movements, or of course making good fun of our pastor. It seems as though the congregation enjoys the 'AG’s' given that when Pastor says, “sit back and enjoy another episode…” they usually cheer uncontrollably. haha, sort of.
Tune in next Thursday for Creative Chaos. You can also go here for TODAY's CC, and scroll to the bottom for lots more creative ministry ideas posted by other bloggers alike. I’m also listed there (#23 on the link list).
One of my favorite blogs to follow is Ragamuffinsoul.com. I don't know the guy personally, but I feel like I've known him ever since I started following his blog. He’s pretty funny, and a Christian to boot.
Well, he's rocket-launching a new weekly blog event called Creative Chaos. Every Thursday, basically anyone who wants to will post about something creative their church has done or will do last or next Sunday. Then, they can link their name and post to his blog's home page.
If you want to learn exactly what Creative Chaos is and means, then go here.
My first Creative Chaos post will be posted momentarily (above).
The question: “what’s new?”
I haven’t blogged in a couple of days. I’m back after some serious withdrawal symptoms.
So here’s a brief update of the newness I can think of:
-I appreciate being a dad more than ever before. Last night I discovered a way to make the Milk Man giggle (one of Jeremiah’s nicknames. Have you SEEN his cheeks? :) He has maybe laughed a total of ten times- like four of them last night; LOVED it.
-We will be hosting two interns from Go Ministries at our home for about a week starting this coming Monday. We did this last year and can’t wait to do it again.
-Nate and Evan sold their current home and will close on it in about a month. Their home-in-progress is coming along beautifully. I will be honing my craftsman skills in the coming two or so months helping when I can to finish their dream home.
-Nicole, Jeff, and Ethan will be coming down to visit for Easter. Yay!
-Sarah will be coming in from TX to visit as well. It should be a jolly time with four out the total six siblings united.
-We are back in the flow of the Announcement Guys at church. I am still one of them. Mmmwuhahaha… I enjoy doing this. It’s all about brainstorming / planning / creating / filming / acting / editing / laughing / repeating
-As of last night at about 10PM, the Sheen is finally finished with school! She has been extremely diligent the last 2+ years of our marriage. Should feel good to not have to think about it anymore. Now she can focus on important things. lol
-Apple is having that iPhone SDK roadmap event today. Woohoo!
-We’re determined to plant a vegetable garden in our back yard this spring.
-My pastors bought me a pair of Wrangler jeans. They’re cowboy-cut; ‘nuf said. Stay tuned for pictures. Can’t wait to go public in these bad boys.
I know, I know. I said brief.
Tomato-Tomahto… whatev.
"When was the last time you got goosebumps doing something? A time you spoke with an unreserved intesity and excitement that was contagious. And you could not wait to wake up each day and get going.
What moved you?
Do you remember?
Inspiration is more than just a nice dream or goal. It is the passion that we breathe into our dreams to bring them to life."
Inspiring, ay?
Ay.
And also thought provoking. I am determined to find that place of goosebumps and excitement and stay there.
