Banana

Ok, my 4th post today already, I promise no more after this today unless something supernatural happens.

I packed my lunch this morning like I usually do. When lunch time came around, I unloaded my lunchbox to eat:

Chili
2 Cornbread muffins
Banana

I saw the chili, but smelled banana. I took a bite of the cornbread and tasted a hint of banana. I don’t know about you, but I like to mix my cornbread into the chili. So I mixed it in. When I tasted the chili, guess what; it took on a new flavor: banana chili.

I want to be like that banana. Just as the aroma of that sweet-smelling fruit was to the muffin, and in turn the muffin to the chili, I desire for God’s love to be in me, so much that it penetrates and clothes itself on who and what is around me. Unless I was to burn that muffin to smithereens, I don’t think I could have extracted the banana flavor. God's love is the same: it changes the flavor of things.

I am a banana living in a giant bowl of chili surrounded by a bunch of cornbread muffins. Billions of them.

Who’s with me?

Oh Jake...interesting concept. I can imagine.I do like my fruit in the morning though.Fruit should be eaten before proteins since they digest faster.Correct food combining is benaficial to your health.

I like fruit in the morning too!

Also in the afternoon. Since it only takes about 90 minutes for food to go through the small intestine, I think having a banana in the afternoon is very beneficial for a nice little energy boost.

Protein shmotein

Hmmm, sounds like something I might use also. But I can substitute the potpouri frosting example. (You can ask Evan, Nate & Trent about that one!)
