HOW RICH ARE YOU?

A friend of mine recently sent me a link to a website where you can enter your income to find out how rich you are according to the world (in terms of money).

You may be shocked to find out how rich you truly are. I think sometimes people seek God too often to gain more stuff, instead of seeking God because He's God.

Agree?

I don't believe any of us start out seeking God because He's God. We realize that we have a great need for a Savior and that He's our Source for all the "stuff" we need so we go to Him to meet all of our needs. Bless the Lord that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him!

The awesome thing is, the more we seek Him, the more wonderful we see that He is - how lovely, how good, and how amazing, then we desire to seek Him because we know Him!

It is really sad the disparity of the rich and poor in the world. The really sad thing is that we as Americans don't realize how well we have it. It seems to be all about how much more we can aquire but it really should be how much more can we give. I checked out the link and sure enough I am at the top. It is amazing how little most of the world lives on.

Yep I agree.God is what makes you rich.Nothing better.I will say being able to have money does rank right up there with oxygen(saying your dad says)so you can give more to others."Praise the Lord everybody" as Paula White says:)

I couldn't agree MORE!!! It's not about our gains! They are NOTHING in this world! Our greatest richness is when we can help lost people come to the Lord. That's what it's about! I'm so sick of all this being caught up in what we have and how much more we can get! I don't need it! Ha! It's a freeing feeling when you change your mindset on things like MATERIAL! It's just that and material will not give us rewards in heaven or even get us to heaven. Great post, Jake. I love it. It's funny, I posted somewhat similar a few days ago and Sarah was telling me about how she doesn't care about material things so much anymore and I was like, Same here! And I feel like a lot of people have been talking about this subject lately! Man!!! Great post!
